Last night I saw on the TV a show that really impressed me, it was about a 15 years old boy born in Nepal that is considered being the reincarnation of Buddha, he is know is his community as the “Buddha Boy”.
It was impressing because they were telling the story of this boy that has been meditating during months without eating any food or drinking water.
It is known and proven that a normal human being can live without eating for around 40 days and without drinking water for 5 or 6 days approximately. But just imagine yourself to pass 4 or 5 months without food or water… just meditating, that’s something that I don’t really will like to try.
Many people think that this is scam because they say he might eat something and get water during the night when everybody is sleeping. During the film of the footage the boy was caught by the cameras during 6 consecutive days 24 hours a day without stopping to see this. Even during the nights the night vision lenses where used, and during the 6 days the boy didn’t moved from the spot in which he was meditating.
After seeing the show I was impressed because I can’t really explain how a teenager has been able to get into such high spiritual and physical levels that even very experienced people with a lot of years of practice and meditation haven’t been able to get.
